Betty M. Williams formerly known as Betty Montgomery Williams is a Print Model, performing artist on stage, film and television. Betty is a SAG-AFTRA union Actress. She started her acting career in 2001 on stage and has performed in several stage productions, indie films, TV hosting, commercials and new media . Betty is also a Writer, Television Host, Emcee and Podcaster. Betty started her entertainment career as a Dancer and Spokes Model on the nationally syndicated television show "The Dance Connection" She later became the Show Coordinator of Fashion and TV Host for the Dance Connection Video Show.
Betty is the Writer,Producer, Creator and Host of"Betty Boo Got The Scoop" (BBGTS) Podcast on You Tube TV, Spotify, anchor and other channels. Betty is one of the most sought after actors to portray a southern accent .She is dependable and dedicated to her craft and she will get the job done!
Skills
In addition to acting Betty worked in Corporate America and the US Federal Government in the Financial Services Industry until she became a full-time working Actor in April 2025. She was awarded with an All-Star Achievement award for leading a dual career in business and Media Entertainment in 2005 by IBM. Betty is
a skilled freestyle and line dancer, Entertainment News Reporter, experienced in reading a Teleprompter and she portrays a strong southern dialect. Her hobbies include Jewelry making, painting on canvas, sculpturing and wood work in addition to poetry writing.
Training
With a professional background as a SAG-AFTRA actress since 2005, Betty brings a wealth of experience and training in film, television, and TV Hosting. This extensive experience has allowed her to master various acting techniques and styles, making her a versatile performer. She trained with Vera Katz- Howard University, Washington, DC, Barry Feinstein, Baltimore, MD, (Actors- Bill Duke- AAFF in Miami, FL, (Actress on Empire)Tariji P. Henson- (Virtual), Darin Henson- Bowie, MD (actor on family business & soul food), Kevin Spacey, (Virtual), David Buchwald -Commercial Master Class, NYC, Scott Powers- TV Hosting, NYC. Betty has also trained with several conservatory workshops with The SAG Foundation.
